February is a Drag! Dr. Sketchy is Feb. 17th at Beachland.

February is cold in Cleveland, but not at Dr. Sketchy! Come on out to the Ballroom for a Dr. Sketchy Cleveland unlike any to date! We are bringing in an amazing performer to pose for you and entertain with a couple acts to boot!

Do not miss this one, we have more swag from Daptone Records and Baby Tattoo to dish out. We will be spinning tunes and having a grand old time! Drinks Drag and Drawing this time around! Sharpen your pencils and tell your friends. This is NOT to be missed! 

Johnny Blazes is known throughout Boston’s drag and burlesque scenes for hir genre-bending, gender-blending, tongue-in-cheek performances. After training in traditional performance arts, theater, opera and ballet, Johnny started to develop hir own style of performance and art. While attending Oberlin College in Ohio, Johnny founded OCircus! and directed the 95-student group for three years. Projects with OCircus! included a small ensemble circus that drew upon vaudevillian traditions to create a dark and sexy narrative with a cabaret feel. The show toured in the summer of 2007 and wowed audiences in Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, New York, DC, Richmond, and Boston. Come welcome Johnny back to Ohio.

Lucy! What a great way to start off 2010

Great night at the Beachland for Dr. Sketchy. (One of our biggest art monkey gatherings! Wow! Thank You.) Lucy was fantastic and beautiful. Thank you all who came out and thank you to lucy for coming all the way up from Columbus! We all had a great night drawing, and drinking! We had some good contests and some great prizes thanks to Carol and John's Comic shop, DAP TONE RECORDS, and Baby Tattoo books.

A BIG THANK YOU to BonBon Bake Shop. Great cupcakes for all!! If you are looking to attack your sweet tooth with something delicious give her a call or stop by one of the local shops that sell her goodies.

Next Sketchy is Jan 20th!

We are back at it!! 2010! and new year and an AMAZING new model! Lucy is going to tear up your sketchbooks, as we rip into this new year! Come on out! (and tell your friends.) We will spin some great music, and as always we will have great prizes to be won! Draw to win Drink! Because it is fun!

It is the New YEar and time to Catch up!

We have been swamped at sketchy headquarters with the end of the year here!! We had a great event last time A VERY SKETCHY CHRISTMAS. Dr. Aaron had a birthday so we tourtoured our art monkeys and Aaron By making him pose!... the payoff, free cake!!! 

Baby Tattoo Finally hooked us up with books, and They were a big hit! Stay tuned, we will have some at every event in 2010! 

Danielle Muad'Dib, posed for our fast round, and then steamed up the stage with Champagne Shock and Sapphire Surge, as they put on a 3 act show for a Christmas treat for our art monkeys! 

After that is was all fun and games!! Champagne and Sapphire melted pencils! We cannot wait to have them back as our guests!!
